Iqra Tanveer

[ b. 1983 ]

lives and works in Amsterdam. She holds a BFA from University of Karachi (2007). She has participated in several group and solo exhibitions across Pakistan, India, UAE, Italy, Hong Kong and Netherlands. Tanveer recently completed a residency program at Rijksakademie van Beelenden Kunsten, Netherlands in 2017. Her group shows include The importance of staying quiet, Yallay gallery, Hong Kong, 2014 and Whorled Explorations at Kochi-Muziris Biennale, India. Tanveer’s solo exhibitions include Between Earth and Sky at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art in 2013.
